My Departure as a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) at Scrum.org
An announcement and some good news
After a magnificent collaboration for almost 10 years, I’ve decided not to extend my license as a PST at Scrum.org.
I want to emphasize that I’m not unhappy as a trainer; I’m not dissatisfied with Scrum.org and don’t hold any grudges towards anyone. My focus simply shifted towards other areas. Our product, Columinity, is the most prominent one.
I could remain on board as a passive community member, but that’s not my style. I’ve always been actively involved, which has proved increasingly challenging in recent years.
I’m super grateful for all the opportunities Scrum.org gave me and the many, many, many incredible people I’ve met in the past 10 years — something I’ll always cherish. 🙏
Of all the great experiences, one stands out:
The creation of the PSM II training! (nowadays called PSM-A training) 🚀
In 2018, Scrum.org acquired the class Christiaan Verwijs, and I developed. For years, we have highly enjoyed providing this class to Scrum Masters, coaches, trainers, Product Owners, developers, managers, and leaders.
Letting go of this class is the most challenging decision. I love teaching it!
However, my license is valid until June!

My calendar offers space for ±3 in-company classes. I’m happy to discuss the options if you see an opportunity in your organization.
